Statement from Rome on Reception of Anglican Groups and Re-ordination (Editorial)

Moving toward full communion should be a desire of all Christians in seeking to live out our Lord Jesus' prayer that   we "may be one." As Anglicans we maintain that we are part of the One, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church as it "upholds the faith and order of the undivided Church." The Statement is one we should read carefully and consider, in humility, how it challenges our Anglican understanding.  (read more...)

Where Bedford Meets Canterbury

Couldn't help but snap this mobile picture yesterday on my bike ride through the Kensington neighborhood in San Diego.  With all of its English street names, the neighborhood is frought with visual puns such as the road to Canterbury including one sign that said, "Canterbury under construction. Please use alternate route."  Good laughs for nerdy Anglican groupies like yours truly.
