Thanks for bringing this request to our attention, Anne.  A quick Google search turns up this recent story of three lynched policemen in central Bolivia, which may or may not be related to this specific request, but certainly paints a clear picture of conditions there.

I got a message from Archbishop Greg Venables in Buenos Aires.

His daughter and her husband and children live in Bolivia.

The situation is getting very dangerous there. There were policemen shot in the street near where they live. He asked for prayer for Bolivia and for them.
