The Rev. Bill Thompson, Rector of All Saints Anglican Church, Long Beach, California, is the first Bishop of the Diocese of Western Anglicans of the Anglican Church in North America (see press release).

With all the great candidates, they couldn't help but have a fine choice. He is a gem. I have to admit that I was rooting for Father Jose Poch whose 15 minute speech on repentance at the Anglican Men's Weekend has been nothing short of miraculous in my life.
