Where Bedford Meets Canterbury

Couldn't help but snap this mobile picture yesterday on my bike ride through the Kensington neighborhood in San Diego.  With all of its English street names, the neighborhood is frought with visual puns such as the road to Canterbury including one sign that said, "Canterbury under construction. Please use alternate route."  Good laughs for nerdy Anglican groupies like yours truly.

Bedford and Canterbury

Having recently returned from Bedford Texas where ACNA held its first provincial assembly, this one was just too obvious.

Time for a caption contest?

"Clearly TEC doesn't control the budget of the Department of Public Works to the extent it does that of the ACC."

Amazing photo!

Bedford rises above

Bedford rises above Canterbury. A new morning for Anglicanism in America?
