Softball!
So begins the 3rd season of softball for San Diego Anglicans.
While the mighty Resurrection pugs are growing in number and bulk and had some
decent muscle memory left over from last season, they were no match for the
sluggers of Holy Trinity in Ocean Beach.
I didn't catch the final score but if felt like 37 to 10 [or somewhere thereabouts].
With some intense training under new coach Nick, the pugs are looking forward to a rematch later in the season.
Come on out to cheer, play or just relax and enjoy the fellowship!
Playing at Sunset Hills Elementary School in Penasquitos most Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

They are but only two teams play per week and TNT - soon to be Christ the King - had the week off!

it was a good game...and i'm not sure how we lost. Fr. eric prepared us with a great sermon and we even had 2 pugs AND cupcakes to inspire us...but alas we lost. i thought the final score was 9-7 but i could be mistaken :)
